My unit plan is 10 lesson plans to help teachers establish procedures, relationships and respect in their classroom. This will help them let students know what is expected of them, it will assist them in getting to know their students and the students to know one another. The lessons are simple and could be used anytime of the year, some more suitable for early in the year to establish procedures or behavior protocol. Most of the lessons are based off a manual created by Outward Bound (www.outwardbound.com). Several more activities were found on the www.livestrong.website. I used the Marilyn Burn's lesson plan format to lay them out and it was very helpful. I also modified them to fit a school setting and to be age appropriate for elementary age students. They could be modified again to work for middle school, or even high school students. The last page of the pdf is the page I used for the cover of my unit, and again on the inside as a table of contents. I would love to hear feedback about how you feel these could be made more effective!
